trailing-edge thickening for hot-wire CNC foam cutting

Upload a Selig-format .dat file (the standard airfoildatabase.com format) using the panel on the right. Your original curve stays visible as a ghost reference while you thicken the trailing edge.
Tip: this also works well for cleaning up any hot-wire-unfriendly geometry — not just the TE.

01 · Load
Accepts the standard Selig .dat layout: an optional name/title line, then one x y pair per line (space, tab or comma separated) — upper surface TE→LE, then lower surface LE→TE.

03 · Physical scale
Kerf is roughly how much foam your hot wire melts away on each pass. TE thickness should sit comfortably above this or the tip will still wander/vanish.
04 · Fuselage cut
Everything past this line is erased. The cut is vertical, and the two open ends — one on the upper surface, one on the lower — are joined with a single straight line, giving you a flat face to mount a motor, ESC, or servo against.
04 · Trailing-edge thickening
Thickening is recalculated live from the original curve, so sliders never compound. Manually-dragged points (amber dot) are locked and skipped until reset.
05 · Point density near TE
Your CNC just connects consecutive points with straight lines. If the blend zone has only a couple of points, the ramp will look smooth here but cut like a sharp kink. Add points if needed.
