Nothing is perfect

This is probably not the first time you hear this but LOVE YOUR MISTAKES

Nothing is perfect was my first ever screenprinting project I have ever done. Yet it is probably the most precious to me because it reminds me everyday that I should not look back at my mistakes and keep going. The whole idea was about pointing out that in life and art mistakes are incredibly important and we often forget that.

October 2024

When I was thinking how can I print on skateboard decks for my brand I came across screenprinting. At the time I didn’t knew much about the technique but I started learning everyday.

November 2024

Looking back at this is really crazy. My first attempts with making screens, layering emulsion and basically everything were horrible. This phase took like a month of trying new stuff and trying the technique over and over again. At this time I also began to work on the design.

December 2024

When I was thinking of another ways how could I pull this off I remembered that I have a cutting machine. So I immediately began to search if you can make the stencil from vinyl. And to my surprise yes! So I made fresh screens that were finally good-quality and I started testing!

January 2025

And finally after almost half a year preparing, planning testing and most importantly making mistakes it was the time to print!

Note: If you are wondering what is the meaning of the collection it is supposed to tell a simple message. Mistakes are important. This had a simple reason: this whole screen-printing thing was really hard to pull off and of course mistakes happen but that should not stop you. The spiral is basically the path for perfectness which never happens so thats why I decided to use a never-ending spiral.
